Natsume Yuujinchou - Handmade Yuujinchou by Himikai-chan Natsume Yuujinchou - Handmade Yuujinchou by Himikai-chan
Yatta! :icongreatjobplz: Finished my completely handmade Yuujinchou in about 7 hours. It didnít even feel like seven hours! In fact, I remember looking at the clock, thinking that only 15 minutes had passed, when it had already been a full hour! For a project I randomly decided upon within 10 minutes, I had a ton of fun. I canít believe I had all the right material just lying around, and got them all together without needing much effort. I just wish I spent a little more time keeping the edges even.. ^^;

Materials:
:bulletpurple: Dark green cloth
:bulletpurple: Ribbon
:bulletpurple: Black sharpie
:bulletpurple: Paper
:bulletpurple: Construction paper
:bulletpurple: Beige-colored paper
:bulletpurple: Hole puncher
:bulletpurple: Ruler
:bulletpurple: Pencil
:bulletpurple: Scissors
:bulletpurple: Box cutter
:bulletpurple: Hot glue
:bulletpurple: Brown marker

I might just use this as my year book this year, since it is the Yuujinchou. They donít have to be youkai to sign their names! :XD: Itís a good thing I can easily untie it and change out and add papers as I wish.

Yeah, they were difficult. Especially the "chou" at the bottom.

but they look perfect! I took one class for the day in Japanese and Chinese. I knew all of the greetings didn't know how ti write them. When it got to the Chinese..... I was mystified. Very complicated characters just to spell I love you (wo ai ni) 我爱你

Thank you. :aww: I think Chinese would be a bit over my head, but I've been teaching myself Japanese for a little while now. Luckily I'll be able to take a class on it next year. ^^

Are you learning all 3 alphabets? Katakana, Hirigana, and Kanji? You'll learn some Chinese if you try to learn Kanji. I can speak Japanese better than I can read it :)

Yeah, I'm learning all three. I have Hiragana down, I'm still memorizing Katakana, and I can recognize some Kanji. But as for speaking, I think I'm still at a preschool or kindergarten level. ^^;
